Hi

Harwa004: That's why the name sounded a little familiar. We use to go rafting down the Natahala every year when I was younger. WE haven't been in a LONG time and I want to take my daughters SOOOOO bad. Here in Charlotte we have a white water center....man made river and all kinds of other outdoor stuff like zip lines and so on. I wanna try it out to.
But there's still nothing like the ice cold Natahala...haha

As for the Ococee....that's a little to much for me. Maybe after get my nerve up and go down something a little milder a couple of times...but not now. I'm to skeered. My brother in law has did it many times and says it's the best one around but it's not for the new comers.

BTW: which one? Silly and Rahlow started a new one about a month ago and I've been hanging out over there.

harwa004 Yeah, we have done most of the main ones up there. It is incredibly fun. I am partial to Nantahala, myself. You have kayaks? We have 5.

Yes the nantahala is beautiful, come on over the mountain next time and check out the ocoee, they didn't hold the olympics there for nothing, very nice river for the kayak inclined. Little tough though if your a newbie.

I've actually had mine for 3 years. We've been thinking about giving it to my daughter who will be turning 16 soon( she won't be able to drive until March though). Maybe I should give my husband a glass of that water though so he can update me with a new one.
