KBR97 More than likely you wont find a new 2010 next summer. You may find a slightly used one, but not new. Wranglers are high demand popular vehicles. Usually dealers dont have any problems getting rid of them. Actually they usually dont have enough.
At least that was an issue around here.

BTW all the JKs should be coming with 32" tires....whether its a Rubicon or not. Rubicons, Mountains, and the Islander come with the BFG Mud Terrain 32s...the others come with normal 32" tall tires.

bwyman74 One of the bigger dealers in my area still has 29 4dr 2010s and 11 2dr 2010s on lot.

Check out this one that they pimped out. Its a 6 speed unlimited!

Yj94 The 32 inch tires are what I want, I went to a dealer yesterday and saw a blue unlimited 6-speed with little tires, they looked stupid with the "oversized" fenders the JK has.

Mr. Sinister 32 inch tires are tiny?

89jeepster I went by the only Chrysler dealership around me yesterday. They have 1 2010 left on the lot. And it just to be exactly what I want. Black Rubi unlimited, they still have it at 36k, I told him when they get ready to get rid of it for 31 to give me a call. Doubt it will happen but we"ll see.

derfC Take it from someone who used to work in the auto sales industry: there WILL NOT be any new 2010's on the lot next year. Dealers are already trying to clear out current year models to make room for new stuff (and avoid any extra fees/ taxes on the old ones). Heck, most dealers have been closing out the old stuff for a couple of months by now.

My recommendation; wait until you're ready to buy and then search carefully for a lightly-used one. After a couple of weeks of looking, I was just able to locate a fully-loaded '10 JKU Sport 4x4 with only 3500 miles on the clock. Plus, since it was used, we saved almost $5k off of the 'new' price

roxbury29 I was thinking the same too, when to get the best deal on a 2010... I just ordered a 2011 the way I wanted it, and still got it below invoice. I did not see any real deals on the 2010's ( for what is left ) you will have a tough time finding anything soon,, except maybe loaded Rubicons... Black.. by halloween they will be very very tough to find...

I cannot wait until my 2011 gets here.. !!! my first Jeep...

Klenger You should be able to find them next summer, but they will be 1-2 year old used vehicles.

KooL Yeah, I definitely don't think they'll be around next summer and almost a 0 chance if you are looking for anything specific. Time is running pretty short on getting a half-way decent pick of 2010's.

DelRocini I don't think you will find a 2010 unlimited around in December. I applaud your choice of a MT. The auto is lacking.
09-22-2010 09:40 PM
DelRocini From experience... Don't expect to find a 2010 in December. Local dealers (3 in all) have 0 unlimiteds. I applaud you on your choice of MT. The auto is lacking.

I'm hoping they'll be giving them away once every one wants the 2011!

mikenavy Theyre doing some decent deals. Just bought my first jeep. They had 2011's on the lot. Got a 2010 Unlimited Sahara w/ Dual Top, Sat Radio, Remote Start for 29. They had a unlimited sport dual top, sat radio, remote start for 27.

I don't think you can expect any super deals, as these cars retain their value so well, even the older models.

J_Westy Around me anyway, there is no such thing as a JK Unlimited 6-speed on lot. They're too odd-ball for a dealer to order on their own. So we just ordered our '11 last week -- build date Oct 6th -- woo hoo.
09-22-2010 05:11 PM
RescueMe10 I'm with the rest, I doubt there will be any around next summer. The dealers that have the 11's on lot now aren't giving discounts on the 10's because ppl are still buying em at cost. If you're wanting one but can't afford it now, just get an 11 in 11.

Yj94 I'm not in the position to buy one now, the spring would be the earliest. When do you think the latest I should buy if I want the best deal, I just want a baseline unlimited, and how much you think I can get it for?
09-22-2010 04:55 PM
JEEP-FIRE Dealers will not have new 10's next summer...

chucky cheese That late you can't be choosy.
09-22-2010 04:50 PM
jeffk42 Do you think there will still be 2010's on the lot next summer?
