YAHAHA We went to the Cliffs yesterday and had a blast! I'll post some pics / vids tonight when I get a chance.

Didn't really get any action shots since we were by ourselves but we've got some good "after" shots that'll let you know just what the Jeep looked like after the slime-bogs!

YAHAHA I've always wanted to go the the badlands but it's 3 hours away. Cliffs is only 1.5 hours.

snwchris Cliff's really doesn't have much for tame spots, I would say it's more Medium to Difficult trails. Do a youtube search for Cliffs Insane Terrain videos to get an idea.

Are you meeting any other people there??? or going with anyone else???

Based on the sound of things you might be better off going to the Badlands Offroad Park in Attica, IN. Depending on where your coming from it's about 3hrs from Chicago area.
They have alot more to offer and especially if it's your first time to any offroad park. The trails are marked easier and easy to get around as well.

Check the following site/board to see if anyone might be going as well to Cliffs
extremejeepclub.com • Index page

When I used to live in NW Burbs I wheeled with alot of people from there.

How is your rig set-up... ie. lift & tires and can recommend some trails??

Cliffs isn't bad, but your best going with people that have been there.

Thanks, that's what were looking for, somebody who has been there before.

Our rig is pert near stock. Only mods are 2" BB & 33" tires. We're not looking to crawl or test suspension articulation; just get offroad and enjoy some tame trails.

YAHAHA All this rain the past couple days should make for some great wheelin.

Anybody that's been to the cliffs, have any recommendations for which trails/areas to go for novices?

Going to the cliffs 9/26/2010: any IL Jeepers going?

We're going to the cliffs for the first time on Suday 9/26/2010.

Anybody from the area going to be there? We're not very lifted so we're gonna stick to some pretty tame areas. We're looking forward to finding some mud and having some fun.
