Scotty355 Sorry you can't make it MOz, I haven't done anything to mine yet but I am going to show up even if it is just to meet some WF people there.

MOz OK...you talked me into it. When you get older, you get too conservative I guess. This weekend the outlaws (inlaws) are coming to town so I have to entertain them. Although this would be a perfect time to get away.

Do you know the difference between outlaws and inlaws? Outlaws are wanted.......

I'll see what the calendar looks like for the following weekend and I'll re-post to see if anyone will be going.

Texapple come out with us MOz.........you'd be amazed,
we're running easy/moderate trails......there's plenty of side areas for the bigger rigs to play......there are a lot of "drive arounds" if you don't want to try an obsticle.

we'd love to have ya

MOz Thanks guys for the info.

I've been planning on a trip to RC sometime this July or August. With any luck I'll have the rig up in the air by then. I've read a lot about the place. How do you guys like it? Is it crowded on the weekends? In your experiences, what advice would you offer?

My off-road experience level is fairly decent. I've spent a lot of time in the woods with an older CJ in years past so I've "paid my dues" in terms of defining my personal limits and understanding the equipment.

Now I have an '02 Wrangler X with the 225/GSA tires which does OK for most of the lumber trails around my neighborhood but can be a handful in some muddy situations.

I've recently upgraded the front bumper and added a winch. I got the winch because I generally off-road alone on the weekends (I don't have a crew to pull me out of any jams).

Should I wait to do the mods and then goto RC? Or should I play it safe on the gumby trails for a while and just chew on my arm to passify my frustration?

binaryking As long as your tires don't stick out beyond your flares and your bumpers are within 30" of the ground, you're cool.

I run 3.5" of lift and 33's on my daily driver. No issues with inspection or the law. I'm in PA as well.

Lift Limits - PA

Anyone familiar with the legal aspects of PA - DOT and lift kits?

What will pass inspection for the Keystone state and what will not?

I'm planning on going with 33's and a 3" suspension lift and I want to make sure it's kosher before I blow a bunch of dough...you know?

Thanks in advance,
