TWIZTIDNINJA X2 on checking the rest of your steering. If your tie rod ends are bad you can get steering wander or that loose steering feel.

Garyk Are you sure its the box and not the tie rod ends, pitman arm etc? Get somebody to turn the steering wheel for you while you look underneath. You should be able to tell what's moving and what's loose pretty easily.

Play in steering box

I have , what seems to me to me, to be to much play in my steering box. I have adjusted the screw on top of the box but no noticable difference. Does anyone have any suggestions.
