Don't forget about "dealer holdback". They
ALL get it. It is 3-4% of invoice price they pay. They are lying if they say they don't

Since I had an uncommon combination of extras, I just ordered my 2011. I got the Tread Lightly 1% under invoice (meaning base invoice + invoice price of all extras) + tax, period. No Dealer fee, no Doc/CVR fee, etc. If you're buying off the lot you can probably go lower than that.

Invoice is still not what the dealer paid for the vehicle. Dealer cost is lower than invoice and that number is closely guarded by each dealer. There are many sites however that can help you get very close to what they paid for the vehicle. Edmunds.com will give you both the invoice and msrp but here is another that offers a printable sheet to figure cost, tax, tittle, down payment, monthly payment, fair profit, and offer to dealer.

How do i find out invoice prices?
Hi, I'm looking to buy soon and have a tread lightly membership. Just wondering where I can find actual invoice prices on new '11s. Thanks. Looking to get an all black sahara, undecided on the matching tops still. I think ( from reading forum posts) that I'm the minority here bc I kinda like the tops. Especially an all black one.
