pinging an rattling

so ive takin my 89 jeep wrangler to two dealerships and a fletchers..
neither place could tell me what was wrong with my jeep. they sai i had a recall on the jeep so they replace my catalayic converter muffler and exhaust line thinkin it might fix it. still no..
so me and my dad have also changed the distributor cap, the crank shaft sensor and the O2 sensor.. still not fixing it..
[its not the gas so dont tell me it is!!]

when i step on the gas it makes a hard rattling sound, and my rpms go all weird up and down..
does anyone have any idea!?!!
