distortedtj ^^^^ Just bring a new starter...I carry a full tool arsenal with me. We'll have it changed out in 2 minutes.

RBatman Had a blast, it awesome meeting everyone. I posted a couple pics under trail pics but I'll post a link here as well. Most of my pics are of my jeep, my photographer didn't get too many shots of other rigs I am certainly down for doing it again. May need Tim to bang on my starter again as well, I'll supply the rocks.

cavediverjc I'm gonna hit up a 5k in Abilene on my way over to Tuttle on Saturday. Won't take very long. I'll be there early on Saturday. Still don't know if I'm camping Saturday night for sure. Planning on it, but that might change depending on whether I get the word from friends in Manhattan.

MR.CLIFFORD I drive the turnpike to the 2nd El Dorado exit. North on 77. Turn right at Randolph. It is 2 lane but much less traveled than 135 and a shorter distance.

You can also take 135 North to highway 50 over to 77 North and it will save you the toll.

distortedtj Cool beans. What is the best route up there from here?
09-30-2010 04:34 PM
MR.CLIFFORD Nope. Forrest is better off if I don't touch his rig since it is his daily driver. I guess my man card is gonna stay locked away in the upper deck of my toilet.

"APBT" = American Pit Bull Terrier.

And have you pulled the man card out and decided to go yet?

MR.CLIFFORD You're bringing some initials with you?
09-29-2010 11:39 PM
RBatman I'll have a APBT with me Saturday, her first time out in the Jeep and camping so I'm crossing my fingers she does alright. Still a pup but shouldn't be to much trouble.
09-29-2010 09:38 PM
Jetskifreak82 I finally convinced my wife to bring the dog. Add a Basenji to the mix! Although we aren't staying Saturday night.
09-28-2010 10:13 PM
distortedtj yeah I was playing with her last night and tossed her toy over the couch onto my wifes lap...thinking she would go around and jump on the wife.

Nope... she cleared the couch and landed on my wife's lap...priceless.

MR.CLIFFORD Mia will feel like a real dog. I found out stuff about my dog that I didn't know when we took him wheelin. I wish I had pics of him crawling the waterfall at Disney. He hopped it like it was easy.
09-28-2010 10:08 PM
distortedtj This will be ours first trip so it should be quite interesting. We'll see how she does.
09-28-2010 10:05 PM
MR.CLIFFORD If I go I will bring Fender. I'll leave the wife's stupid dog at home with Forrests 2 boxers.
09-28-2010 10:02 PM
distortedtj Hah, I found a sitter for my dog. But we'll be bringing the wife's boxer.
09-28-2010 09:55 PM
MR.CLIFFORD The good thing is I think I have a key to Forrest's house. I don't think he has a say whether I steal his jeep or not. And I'm watching his dogs while he is out of town. HMMM. This trip may just happen for me after all!

distortedtj Bare metal and burnt metal does have an appeal to it.
