1BLKJP If you are thinking about wanting to link it and do it all yourself as a project, then check out Gen Right. They are putting together some nice stuff and you can actually get it unlike Poison Spyder.

Odd is he Not really sure what I want to do yet, Many options run through my head each night....

I don't know if I'll NEED to do a coild conversion or a SOA..... I think I might go with a RE 4.5 or a Skyjacker 6, and built waggy 44's with 35" tires... I dont know If i cant justify spending the money and basicly building a rock crawler when I dont need one....

decisions decisions.........

Odd is he Most likely going to dana 60's front and rear. I think Im gonna go with 37's or 36's.

Driveshaft wise, i know I'll have to upgrade. Same goes for steering.

Also with the coil conversion The wheel base will be streetched to 104+"s.

4Jeepn You said you want to go bigger. For what reason? Larger tires,, just like the look? There is more to it than that. Once you go bigger in lift you need bigger tires, with that much lift your into the 36-38" tire range. Then with that come axle and steering upgrades, drive shaft upgrades etc etc. Thus give us an idea what you want out of the jeep.

mr4x4 coils will give you a smoother ride
why not keep it leaf spring in the rear and coil in the front like the super lift's black diamond x2 lift kit does

http://www.superlift.com/suspension/jeep/BD-X2.asp

I think you might be able to fab up a coil sping suspention
for a little les money

Hackle First off SOA on that set of springs would be rather tall I hope you would change springs.

Second in your area I doubt you can find enough rocks to justify the cost of the coil/link kit plus install. If you can install it yourself, you can fab your own kit for less money.

1BLKJP Man, if you SOA with those 3.5" lift leafs you are looking at almost 9 inches of lift. That's way too high for anything and it probably won't flex worth a poop because those leaf packs have to be pretty stiff. If you are looking to roll on 35's then at the most do an SOA on 1.5 inch springs.

If you are looking to spend that kind of money for a coil coversion then in my book you need to ask yourself what it is you want to do with your jeep. Is it going to be a great enough benefit to doing a coil conversion vs. SOA.

Odd is he
What to do? Leafs VS. Coils??

I'm currently running a 3.5 OME lift and want to go bigger ...

My debate is to either do a SOA with the 3.5 leafs I already have, or get a fully custom fabed 7" coil conversion from clayton offroad for $2,999 with out installation cost?

Not sure what I want to do yet? What do you think?

I'm leaning more towards the SOA at the moment, but my mind can change quickly

Thanks,
Neil
