|kik||Your Cat. could be clogged. If it is the only effect you would get is that you have no high end power. Try disconnecting to see if that's the problem.|

|mameyj||my 87 was doing the same thing, I checked my timing and it was at about 14 degrees, set it at 9 and it feels better, revs up a little faster not to much but definitely better. Its really easy to check so its worth a shot.|

|Schwheelz||I would first say you should try driving in a lower gear.. If not electrical always seems to play a part what's your voltage on the battery? It should be 14|

I was thinking that it may be caused by my exhaust because when i first got it the exhaust backfired, and it does seem to have the drone affect....

|bobjenkins||this not an exaggeration? It takes me some time but _I can still accelerate in 5th gear past 2000rpms with a loaded trailer. somethings definately wrong ifyou cant do that|

Seems my jeep cant keep up with the throttle...?
I am having issues getting over 2k rpms even when my foot is to the floor.
I have a 4.0l 6I 5 speed with 33x12.5x15 tires, stock axles... exc... any advice?!
