|Rock Hopper||Sorry about that, I should have said any forest service station in Mesa. Either way, did you get out to the trails?|

|Rock Hopper||I go to Bull Dog Canyon off 87. You need a permit (free) at any forest service station (one in Mesa just off Higley North of Brown). Not too crazy, but there'd are a few spots that will give you a good challenge.|

|elijah.caine||Pobrecito is pretty fun, it's just a mile or two past Butcher Jones if you haven't been out there already... I went out there just the other weekend after a good soaking and that nice wet sand in the washes was mighty fun. You gotta watch out for that though, I don't really know what you roll with, but make sure you don't get yourself out there stuck in the boonies cuz it's pretty hills-have-eyes-esque out there at night. Some shady folks propagate, congregate, and commiserate there. My MT/Rs crawled over it like pavement though. Some A/T treads will have problems in the loose sand and washes especially after a good rain. The quads you see are probably in Pobrecito, you can always find 4wheelers down there at any given time. Oh and another thing, if your Jeep has a hot finish you don't want to scratch up, make sure you take the trailheads north and east and not the southern ones because there are some overhanging branches that are just attracted to hot paint. Spoken from experience my friend. Anyway, good luck!|

hey anyone find some good wheelin spots off bush hwy around 87? I always see quads down there
I usually go camping on the rim near heber or even near flag but to find some nice spots to go in the winter closer to my house would be awesome!
