Jaker jk 2wd do not getter better mileage

And do a conversion if you do all the work yourself it is around 1200 bucks

JeepGuy94 I have a 2wd wrangler (bout to put a D44 front axle and all the components to make it into a 4wd) and its not bad. I still go off roading in mine. I don't see why its such a big deal. Sure it doesn't have 4wd stock but who cares? Some people rather 2wd to not worry about the extra weight in front axles, transfer cases and front drive shafts. emarlowe39 whats so bad about gettin a 2wd heep?

if i was to start over id go 2wd bare bones model and put 60s on it, shouldnt have to cut too many brackets, not too mention saving a bunch of cash to put towards an atlas etc etc

I believe it was CAFE rating related.....
Here in Florida it is hard to find 4wd vehicles and my local Jeep dealer says that the 2wd JKU was very popular as it was the only convertible SUV, and people were worried about the additional drivetrain components that they would never use.

2011 2WD Wrangler?

I've been playing around on the Jeep website configuring a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited, and I noticed that there is no longer an option to select a 2WD model! Are they doing away with 2WD Wranglers for 2011?

I'm DEFINITELY not opposed to this. I was just surprised!
