And to add to that. Jeep releases information on new models (now would be the '16) about 2 weeks before it becomes public knowledge to dealers. Jeep has always been incredibly tight lipped on special editions and will continue to be in the future.

If I were to guess, based on how many people are in club willys in the forum alone, the WILLYS model might be the next Freedom edition where we see it return every year.

I had a similar experience. I knew I was supposed to get the kit (per the Jeep website and this forum), didn't upon purchase and contacted the sales person regarding it. She said she didn't know anything about it, but upon contacting the parts department learned that ever JKWW comes with one. The dealer they transferred my Jeep from didn't have the kit so she ordered a new one for me. I got it a couple weeks later.

2014 Jeep Willys Wheeler - Off Road Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited 3/4 down the page. Took a bit to get it. The dealership didn't know anything about it "we have sold about 15 Willys and no one has mentioned this before". When I called the MOPAR OWNER CONNECT I had to walk the lady through the website to show her and about 15 min later the answer was, once you register you "should" get it by them sending it to the dealer and you pick it up there. (guess it's cheaper to use the mopar delivery system).

I'm just wondering how many of you have heard of this? This brings up another question, is the Willys Wheeler a 2014 thing or has it been around for a while?

Some good goodies all WARN products.

Sorry for being redundant then, but I'm glad I could help!

Exactly, I bet you can check the dealer's eBay page or someone who works there and find all the trail kits listed.

I'd also suggest you go back and sign up for any other licensed drivers in your home. You can use a coupon in the same household/name, otherwise no trading coupons. Also, make sure you include your email address and check your spam boxes. Several people have gotten their 'golden tickets' via email valued at $500-$1500. $500 is the most common denomination though. I think the $1500 may have been a current Chrysler customer.

Hope this helps!

I don't think there is an undo except a negative terminal reset. I noticed a difference in my manual immediately. I may even switch HSA on again now that I know more about it. It was a pain when I first got the jeep. I didn't realize that it applies the brake proportional to how much pressure you put on the pedal. I'm sure I was pushing it all the way to the floor at every stop, so it always took a lot more to get it going. I like the shifting now that I've gotten used to it, but I'm not going to pretend that it's not worse than my old man's 80s mazda b2000.

1monday apparently, I am the odd one here...ok, I know i've always been odd but...
I absolutely love the way the jeep shifts, ...Maybe I WANT it to shift like a truck...it fits the personality...or maybe I am just really good at shifting (haha, couldn't resist), or maybe i just don't know any better. ???
and I love the HSA too even though I pretty much live in flat land

Not sarcastic, Kerry. It is the worst manual gearbox I've ever driven, short of commercial rental trucks decades ago when they still had manuals.

Now to be fair, every manual I've owned has been in a car, starting with a '73 240z when I was 16. Even that old, beat-to-hell datsun 4-speed was light years smoother than the Jeep box. So maybe the world of trucks is quite a bit different (my previous Jeeps were all autos.)

But, with automatics, I can't tell a Jeep one from a car's of the same period. No roughness penalty for it being a Jeep. But lordamercy, the Jeep manuals are rough, long-of-throw, rubbery, and vague, compared to any other box I've owned or driven.

I don't complain about it -- it is what it is. But it just struck me as LOL-worthy that someone actually called it out as "smooth."

And yes, I turned off HSA the first week.

Very glad to hear this SoCal. I was hoping HSA does the trick off-road. Going on my first real trail ride Sunday. I'm probably the only one who likes HSA on roads, so I figure I'll love it on the trail.

I have actually come to realize that it may be great for rock crawling, but it made my auto feel bad and I won't turn it back on unless I am actually rock crawling, which is a very unlikely event I would give it a try turning it off and see how you like it. It takes less than a minute and can be done at a stop light if you absolutely want to turn it back on.
