I'm sure it will. My old lady bought her Sahara in May and I started looking at trading my truck around September. Finally decided I wanted a Willys in November so it's been a long wait already haha

Solomon I'm just over here patiently waiting before ordering. Man, it is a challenge to wait after seeing all the pics.

I'm looking at ordering at the end of January. Unless a Golden Ticket arrives before then. If I get one of those bad boys I'll be ordering straight away. Right now I'm set on JKUWW in Anvil. Tank and Copper Brown still being considered, but I'd like to see one in person first.

Already signed up for TL, and have been emailing dealers. Looks like I shouldn't have much trouble getting 3% or better below invoice.

(pacing back and forth).

Unlimited Willys 24W Dual Top Alpine speakers Figured I can add a nice aftermarket navigation screen and the tow hitch/ wiring way cheaper after I get it. I'm pretty excited to get this thing! Wanted a wrangler since I was little.

Haha, well, I'm not headed to Texas. I meant that in the open ended future sense.

I'm from Long Island now living in Birmingham, have made that I-81 trip many times!

Seriously though, be very careful and check the weather reports. They are calling for severe weather here in AL late tomorrow with the possibility of tornadoes. Don't want to freak you out, but want to make sure you were aware!

Oh... DRT on the plate.. courtesy of DMV. Thot it was appropriate, no need for a custom plate.

I like the way that looks. How much was it and where did you find it?

sportsphysio Well, my JKUWW was at the local rail yard on Friday, anticipated delivery to the dealer today! Just in time for the severe weather outbreak that is supposed to happen here in the southeast tomorrow. I'm almost tempted to wait on picking it up until after the storm, so I can see if it has any leaks BEFORE I take ownership of it!

I agree. Mine have been rotated three times, and my Willys has (still) been basically 100% outside. No deterioration noticed yet....

I debated all weekend between the Teraflex hinge or a new bumper/carrier combo. Last night I ordered an Ace pro series rear combo with 6" Lifetime LEDs included for $935.03 shipped from Northridge4x4.

NoGaBiker Hey, you know how all the cool aftermarket bumper people have tabs with shackles in them making us poor OEM guys look like we're late to the party, with our paltry OEM tow hooks? It's downright embarrassing.

Well, I figured out a way to hook one of my Warn shackles to the tow hook without it being able to come off.

Of course, it requires a Maximus 3 winch plate, but hey, if you already have such as that, this is just icing on the cake!

I had to take a pneumatic grinder to it for a few minutes to narrow the mounting tabs of the winch plate about an eighth on either side so the shackles would fit. But now it's solid. The only real problem is because the pin has to be run in from the outside, I had to install the shackle with the name-dropping red "WARN" imprint face down! So now people don't know what a high-roller I really am, figuring it's just some knockoff shackle. (If I had thought of this before doing the grinding I'd have ground the left side, which would cause it to be pointing up.)

The bracket (on the other side) in unground condition.

And from the top, unground. Basically, the part you see peaking out on either side of the towhook had to be ground down.
