SEABEE1024 had my door seal replaced and door adjusted today, hopefully it stops the monsoon inside when it rains.

I had a bottle of Sheffield's black porcelain touch up paint that works well. I keep several colors on hand for touching up sinks, appliances and whatnot. It comes in a nail polish size bottle.

Yep that was me always a great cheap touch up. Only $2 a bottle at walgreens and very easy to apply.

I ordered 23W, premium soft top, supp airbags, and alpine audio (with the U130). Very happy with the sound (although this is my first jeep so I'm not sure how bad they used to be) and really like the top.

Installed the rear seat recline kit from Ebay after picking it up. Will install clear sidemarkers, Rugged Ridge Mesh Grill kit, and Quadratec Hitch/Harness (picked up for $80 I think) this weekend.

Really happy with how the Anvil Willys turned out.
Good choice!

Best of luck kev with the process. Hoping they can stop the leaks so you can continue enjoying the one you have!

hey I hope it gets resolved what a pain. But a leaky jeep will rust out faster over the years.

I really want my Jeep to not leak, I've already written a letter to Chrysler to give then "lemon notice" as required by my state to proceed with the lemon paperwork, I just can't bring myself to send it. I love my Jeep and honestly don't want another one. That being said, if it's not fixed this time I guess I have no choice but to proceed.

All projects and off roading are on hold until I figure this out.

What a bummer, Kev. I hope they figure it out and can fix it so you don't have to go the lemon route.

All Terrain JK Received my AEV Procal yesterday and recalibrated for the 35s. Auto trans performance is much improved. No more hanging in or hunting for gears. Also turned off the TPMS.

I'm pretty sure someone (maybe Kev) did that early on and used some black nail polish.

Welcome. Good to see the 2015s are popular too. Wish Jeep would release sales numbers on their special editions, it would be interesting to see how popular the Willys actually is. Seems to be the most popular special edition on the thread, but I don't see a ton on the road. I do see a lot of Freedom editions though.

Wanted to say thanks to the members that took the time to voice concern about my 9 year old grandson. As you can tell, the picture is not of me but the Jeep was bought for both of us. He is an avid reader of the forum with me and he gets to pick out the mods while I pay for them. He keeps me feeling pretty young. As for driving......

He may look young but he is in the Midwest Jr. Dragster program. He has won a couple of races and is averaging 55+ mph. So if he could reach the pedals, I'd trust him with our Jeep. Hmmm, maybe another mod idea.

The distressed star along with the American flag was purchased from pixeldecals.com. Not an original idea from me but I picked it up from the forum. I am gonna be going with a tribute theme on my Willys to the original.
NoGaBiker was right about the winch plate that Keviper1 was questioning. The plate showed up today and I should be winching by Saturday.

I think max tow is only like 3-4 hundo. It would also be under factory warranty. If ya install it yourself there is a benefit but if ya pay someone then what's the point
Nope max tow is $745 and totally pointless on the Willys model, regular tow package is $295. And still way overpriced the only additional thing you get is a $50 hitch and 4 pin trailer connector and maybe heavier gear oil. With a total value of less than $100. As for warranty I don't think I've ever seen a hitch fail or the 4 pin wiring harness fail what is there to warranty? Now I get it if you are not mechanically inclined or have no intentions of ever doing any kind of modifications to your Jeep by all means spend the 295 and add the regular tow package. But I think for most of us who intend on doing lots of modifications or will end up doing lots of modifications is it completely needless expenditure for most people and just lots of extra profit for Jeep.

All Terrain JK I bought my hitch from Amazon, $60 delivered and half hour to install.

Ashcan A few photos of yesterday's run. We ended up in a wash cut by the recent storms here in NV, and had to blaze our own trail out to the highway. The trail we'd been following kinda got washed away.
