ATG After I had ordered my Willys, on the 14th, I texted my salesman on the 20th because he hadn't sent me the VON as he promised. He said the sales manager had been trying to find me one in Jersey. This sent off warnings for me, because of everything I had read here and from using the Jeep site. I knew that I could search a 500 sq. mile radius in seconds, what was he doing for days? They told me it was ordered an hour later and sent me a VON, which I couldn't get to work with the VOTS hack. I was suspicious that they were out of allotment and were trying to stall.

Yesterday when I read, here, that prices were going up I texted my salesman to confirm that the changes would not come in to play for me since we had an agreed upon price and my order was already placed. He confirmed this. I was still suspicious.

Today, I stopped in and asked if he could print me the build sheet for posterity and so I'd have the VIN for the call to my insurance. He did. To my relief everything is as it should be. Apparently they still had allotments in August, I think the sales manager just forgot. I am in D1, estimated ship date of 9/12, a month earlier than they had me expecting when I ordered.

So, two things to share. First, remain calm. Sometimes these guys aren't incompetent liars. Maybe.

Second, some pricing info (all MSRP): base went up $100 to $26,495, package 23k (manual Willys) went up $200 to $4000, premium soft top still $400, trailer tow group (I know, I know, I ordered it before I found this site) went up $50 to $345.

Finally, a question. MSRP= manufacturer suggested retail price! I know that one. EP= employee pricing. HB= holdback? FWP=final working price?? FFP=???
My salesman shared the page with all of these numbers printed. The manager covered the FWP when he copied the build order for me. I didn't know if that was noteworthy or not.

Star, if I need to move this post somewhere else just let me know. It's more of me trying to get an idea of something like this could gain any traction or not.

Thanks all!
I am interested.

I have received as many waves from and men. Return the wave...

I know I've got issues Anywhere I love waving at other Wrangler owners and feel it just comes with owning and driving a wrangler. I'm glad we don't have a wave just for willys owners because I don't see very many on the road where I live. Their is also a jeep wave thread in case anyone is interested or hasn't searched for it. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f19/off...ead-19088.html

I love this idea! I have a friend who does embroidery. I think if I just showed him a picture of the hood decal his artist would create it on the computer. It is roughly about $100 bucks to digitize the artwork I think? Have it embroidered on a patch then sewn into the seat. Similar to sewing a patch onto a sweatshirt. I think it would look awesome, you could customize your colors to your interior.
