|Mreynolds69||Done. Removed the tire and the drum and the axle slid right into the housing. In and out in 30 minutes. Thx!|

Thanks for the help. I live in Central Florida, so mud and sand hills are all I have.
I will remove the tire and try tapping with a hammer.

|4Jeepn||each jeep is different..use the least amount of force needed. Also go lite on the gas with the locker and 33's on stock shafts.|

|Mreynolds69||No other upgrades. Just replacing the spider gears. I did this about eight years ago on my '98. I didn't remove the tires or anything. I guess I need to do this in order apply force.|

Right C-Clip on Dana 35 is not coming out.
I need help. I am replacing the spider gears with a locker and the right axle will not push in far enough to drop the C clip. Any suggestions?
