RatherBNarizona a fellow Wildcat!
Not sure if you want to visit RP now... they moved in the military. Coming into the town, there were humvees in the middle of the street with a 50 cal pointing at the car. Not exactly "safe".

Still was a wild time though... just ask AzTJ

I went to school in Tucson from 99-04 at U of A, sort of. I remembered the kids talking about how great Rocky Point was... To this day I wanna visit Rocky Point. I have family in Sonora by Kino bay, and San Carlos and Mazatlan Sinaloa, at times I too wish I could be in Mexico. Drinking Tecate and fishin for yellow tail... cant get better than that.

sonofabeach Every year I do a haunted garage. There's not a huge amount of room but we get abut 200 kids and we make the best of it. It gets better every year. I just started decorating tonight and this is my zombie costume.
The little kids are gonna fit their shants this year.

This was me last year. This year one of my buddies is gonna be Leatherface
10-24-2010 09:49 PM
jim_n_Looziana Actually, last year I wore a shirt that said JIM THE BRICK LAYER

and my wife went as a brick chimney........pics around here somewhere.......

burton160w This year... I'm going as a chilean miner. Complete with Salvation army provided flannel, overalls, hardhat and workboots. I'm going to wear a Chile pin flag, throw a cheap overhead light ontop, and then put a lot of soot on my face. I'm also going to smoke a lot of cigarettes all night and have both a wife and a mistress

/ducks for the flaming to commence [ahh c'mon they all survived!]

popstop785 I'm gonna be Dexter and the back of my jeep is gonna be my kill room for this weeks Halloween event.

X... Oh, I love the idea of a pounce wheel for that pumpkin carving idea! Could like texture the skin surface with it to...

If you are headed to an Art Supply store, you could also look into cheap burins. You can also make a burin, and or other carving tools fairly easily as well.

GroundHawg i just bought 30 pounds of halloween candy, so i guess i'm going as Me Except Fatter again this year.

Edit: I think that's what they're called... it's been a few years, but any art supply store has them, tell them you want to make a pounce pattern and they'll know what you need....

Heck ya. That's what I need. That would get the majority of it done quickly. Then use the needle for the tight areas.

There may be some echos in here.

Me: Brand from Goonies
The Lady: Andi from Goonies

Two years ago, I successfully pulled off Three Hole Punch Jim (watch some archived Office if you don't follow). I was walking down St. Mark's towards A and I had four people yell out of cabs: Three hole punch!!

Lesson: If you ain't got ish going on, costume-wise, hit up the black felt. Every single man in the world has the rest. Best part is that the later the costume is, the hella-awesomer it is. 2009 is funny. 2011 is funnier. 2032 is fing amazing. Set your clocks.

Then I trace all the needle dots with a razor blade. Then peel the skin off the pumpkin in the areas you don't light and leave the skin for the dark areas. The mini took about 2.5 - 3hrs after the pumpkin was prepped.

Coyote, if I posess the patience to do it I'm gonna try. mine may end up looking like a pumpkin that got a hole punched in it though, as I'm not known for my patience.

That just looks too cool for me to not try. I may try a Lotus Emblem.

fullmoon923 well, I work behind a bar and try to like pretty nice every day. I'm gonna shake it up a bit and dress as a frumpy first grade teacher (no offense to any teachers out there) I've got the long frumpy navy blue pullover dress, with embroidery on the bib, like an apple, chalkboard, ruler. Glasses on a chain around my neck, hair in a bun, christmas turtleneck underneath dress, name tag, I think i'll have a time out chair somewhere, stickers for good behavior, that kind of thing. Here a couple pics from a few years back.
