JeepinUTE Hi, Just joined myself. I am from Layton/Clearfield area, where are the good trails up here in northern utah. Curious where the close ones are if I can't make the trip down to Moab.

I've been over the mountain from Heber/Midway and dropped down into either Cascade Springs or AF canyon many times. I've done almost all of the trails in AF canyon itself--there are some fun spots up there. I've also been out west of Lehi, both at Five Mile Pass (where the highlights are Rattlesnake and Constrictor) and also at "little Moab" west of Utah lake.

Due to long work hours as a car salesman, I don't get to go on many long-distance Jeep trips (such as to Moab). As a result, I've spent lots of time finding ways to be entertained close to home.

DKDKGUS Thanks McG and AS. And to Sherpa, I jump between the SLC area and Orem/Provo area (depends on my GF's mood hahahaha). I used to live in Heber City so I've been on a few trails there. And, I've spent some time in the mountains in San Pete County as well. Lots of areas for our kinds of riff-raff!! ;-)

DKDKGUS Oops, forgot to list my ride. '93 YJ, 4.0, soft top, basically stock (not for much longer though), rolling 31" rubber. I've been a few places with her...

Hey all, new to the forum and hoping to make a few friends and trail partners. I've been in Utah now for almost 2 years. Bought my first Jeep last July. She is a stocker for now, but I have my eye set on a 4" susp lift. See ya on the trails!! ;-)
