1948 Willys Jeep on America's legendary highway

On Friday, May 11 a two-man team representing set off on a one-of-a-kind Jeep adventure from Tallahassee, Florida en route to Arizona in a 1948 Willys Jeep. What makes this trip so special is the fact that the previous owner of this Willys Jeep purchased this vehicle upon his return from his tours of duty during World War II, and he owned the vehicle for over 60 years prior its sale to Will Morgan and Vance Crowder, the founders of Will and Vance are planning a two-week adventure that will conclude with the final ‘1948’ miles along America’s legendary highway, Route 66. The story behind this Jeep, its original owner, and the adventure itself can be viewed via daily trip reports at the following website:

Will and Vance are encouraging ALL Jeep enthusiasts who have the time and interest to meet with them along their journey to contact them directly. They can be reached at 932-243-0396, and a complete write-up on the trip will be featured exclusively in the August/September issue of JPFreek Adventure Magazine. If you have a warm space in your heart for Jeep history and you want to be a part of this one-of-a-kind adventure, feel free to contact Will and Vance as they’d be thrilled to share this adventure with all of you. They are currently in Rome, GA and their route map can be viewed on the website listed above.

We at JPFreek appreciate your continued support and we are thrilled about this exciting Jeep adventure. If you have more questions about the trip, etc don’t hesitate to contact us directly. In the meantime, be on the lookout for the release of the June/July issue of JPFreek Adventure Magazine in early June. Take care and happy Jeepin’!
