ParaCAD ^^THAT problem i had one time, i didn't know what the hell was going on..lol

I and sure to always turn the key to the off position now.

I never have any problem cranking the jeep. But doesn't mean the ignition couldn't be starting to fail iguess.

pokey A bad ignition switch will cause strange problems with the turn signals, radio, and wipers. Not exactly as you described, more like intermittent working or not working. Also a bad switch will cause the airbag dash light to stay on. Make sure the key is in the off, not accessory position when you remove it. Otherwise the computer won't re-set, causing those problems. You may want to check the switch. Good luck.

Stick69 Mine did this also and it ended up being the blinker bulb in the front fender. It would work sometimes and others it would blink fast or just stay on.

Elec. Issue - turn signal/side marker lights

My dash, left blinker light has been acting a little crazy.

The other day it blinked rapidly telling me i had a blinker out. I get out take a look everything blinks just fine (brakes, blinker, back up) all work.

So i let it go.. Then the next day i get in, crank it up, and see the left dash blinker staying on (not rapidly flashing) So i believe this means i have a light out completely. I check.........both my left blinker and side marker light are out.."Damn" I say..

So i jump back in and ride on down the road, take another look at the dahs light and its off..WTF? So i pull over hop out take a look again, both blink and side marker are now working again..So obviously the bulbs are fine. From this senario i am assuming i have a short somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Side note: This jeep hasn't given me any real issues that i cant deal with. But as far as electrical...it does have little quirks. the lights as mentioned. Also the radio will sometimes stay on after i turn the jeep off, and other times it will go off when i turn the jeep off...maybe this is all steming from one problem..idk
