TJeepman Protect the nuts with duct tape or a small piece of cloth, and used the vice grips snugly.

Lots of inexpensive multi bit security sets on the market (containing torx, hex, etc.) which should have a bit that works. Something similar to this. http://www.electronictoolbox.com/cat...81/5364957.htm

bobsalmon Vise grips and don't be bashful. Use PB blaster liberally the crush down with the V-grips and use a lot of force. Throw the nuts away when you're done.

03 RUBI Right tool for the job.......use an allen and you won't have to worry about it slipping and doing damage to your doors.

Boosta I think he meant the nuts on the bottom of the doors, not the wheel locks.

oIIIIIIo Welcome!...

Use a vise grip pliers to get those off. You may end up scratching those nuts though! I had too...

VHunter Last time I bought a used car that had security nuts but no key, I took it to discount tire. They charged me $10.00 a tire but they took them off and replaced them with regular lug nuts.
