jgorm Looks sick! You could just spray out that part of the bumper when you get back from the beach. I wouldn't worry about it more than the rest of the jeep. (wash it every time!)

AEV Front and Rear Bumper install almost done

I went by the 4 wheel specialties shop today and WOW....when I drove up I got to see the front of my Jeep with the AEV front bumper and Warn XD9000i winch installed....all I can say is NICE!!!

They were still working on the tire carrier install and I got to see it with my 35 inch Toyo spare mounted. I was surprised at how big the tire looked....VERY NICE!

I will be picking up the Jeep tomorrow evening and will get some pics posted here sometime on Saturday.

After talking to the guys at the shop about my latest mods....I did hear about one thing that had me wondering about a fix. The front bumper has an open gap between the bumper and the front plate on the top side of the bumper. I live about a mile from the Gulf of Mexico and fish the beach often. One of the guys said that he was concerned about rust developing in that gap and I could see that it will possibly be a problem here near the salt air and water. I'm thinking that I need to fill that gap with something....and I can probably figure this out, but I thought that I would ask for tips.
