|1BLKJP||Yeah, I gotta agree on that one too. You can roll 4.88's into the axles and help yourself out a lot. You can also add every performance part that you can buy on the 4 cyl. to make it more powerful. But with all of that comes less reliability. If you want to tow anything at all the 6 is what you want.|

I have a 4 banger. 4 cyls are fine for around town and for trail rigs - they can also do OK on the highway if you gear em right, but they make themselves clear that they're not meant to go fast.
If you're running a heavy Jeep (full doors, hard top) and going to be doing light towing; I'd definitely go for the 6.

Need More Info On Motors
Hello all, I will eventually be getting a 97-2000 Wrangler, and I wanted more imput on the motors, I wnat to buy one that comes with a hard top and full metal doors, because it will be alot cheeper to buy a soft top and half doors down the line compaired to buying a hard top and hard doors. But all the ones i have been seeing are the $cly motor and I also wanted the 6. I plan to tow smaller trailers, but I would surely appreciate everybody comments on what they have and what they think. Thanks Matt
