JDsDream If you feel that it cannot be cleaned and are set on replacing it, then here you go

InfernoGirl It will if you do a good enough job... If you're fighting dog hair then I highly recommend Raptor lining it..... Then all that pesky dog hair will just blow out....

Edit: Billy YJ, I haven't put it back yet, but it's sitting here waiting for me to get around to it, I expect I will before winter hits, just to get it out of the garage, if nothing else..

InfernoGirl, does washing it get rid of years worth of Dalmation hair? Thanks for the advice!

billy_YJ Hey Inferno, do you keep your carpet in since doing the lining?

jpg103 Right on, thanks Billy! BTW, I like the wheels. Interested to see what the finished YJ looks like.

Carpet - Here We Go Again

OK, so I'd like to replace the seven year old, stinky, mildewey carpet in the TJ. Now before you start hammering me with HERCULINER RULES, HERCULINER RULES, HERCULINER RULES, I will let you know that I'm considering it at a later time but I don't have the interest in doing it right now. Maybe next summer.

With that being the case, can anyone share their experience with an aftermarket manufacturer that fits the tub just like the original? I don't want to wind up with some ill-fitting product that doesn't match the original molding and shape of the OEM carpet and just looks like I threw a blanket in it. Thanks!
