The YJ only came stock with a D30 front and D35 rear.

The TJ comes with a D30 front and D35 or D44 rear optional. You will have to look at the diff cover to check.

The RUBICON model comes stock/standard with D44 front and rear.

25172021k the Dana 44 was an option- not standard. Look at the plug -metal is a 44.

New to the jeep world I am looking at buying a TJ or YJ. I found a good deal on a sport model TJ I had heard those come with a Dana 44 in rear is this true or do they come with the 35 in the rear stock?

Now the Rubicon has 44 front and rear with lockers correct?
