Williamc141 So the 2.25 offset muffler will fit on this? I can just use exhaust clamps?

Moabjeeper I had a 40 series on my first jeep I loved it, not too loud but had a real deep note even when the jeep was idling . Rice burners would try to get me to race them, I think the sound was a little intimidating to them. So just a heads up after installing a Flowmaster you might have more rice burners trying to race you too.

whiteyj I have the 40 series on my YJ 4.0. Still like the sound and I'm an old man.

caleb-97 I personalty like the flowmaster sound on jeeps, but on the highway it can get a bit annoying unless you have big tires and no top then you wont even be able to hear it. Check out youtube as previously suggested to see if you like the tone.

Coop02x There are some videos on You Tube of that particular muffler on Jeeps. Whether or not it sounds good is subjective; it boils down to personal preference.

longarm4146 I have a flowmaster that came off my 2006 TJ...took it off as i like the quiet. It's like new and would only require a little work to re-attach.....I don't think it was on the jeep but about 8 or 9 months...they sound pretty good, but I'm not into loud. When my friends had Harleys with drag pipes I had a BMW......

Flowmaster muffler.

Hey everyone, Was wanting to know if this 40 series muffler would go in place of the stock muffler. Would this still sound good in a 6 cyl??
