I am researching the MyGig to put in a 2011 Wrangler. I found this site.
MyGIG radios _models RER_ REN and REU_
Do you guys know if all the MyGigs are the same size? Maybe that's a dumb question but I can get an older model MyGig cheaper.

|Rhadid||Its because its a low speed. You need a high speed. I had the same problem as you.|

|N39-W120||From my understanding..... It is dependant on the electrical bus speed. The mygig requires a high speed bus which only became available in 2007 on the Rubicon and Sahara Wranglers, then on all the 08 and newer.|

|shmoos||Was the radio out of another jeep? if not this might be the problem. I dont think radios from a dodge or other brand can fit in a jeep. Thought i read that somewhere but i might be wrong.|

I bought this Mygig radio off of a guy and when i plugged it into my jeep it won't turn on. Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction on what I can do to make it activate?
