You'll need new wheels with 4.5" back spacing, or 1.5" spacers with stock wheels to avoid rubbing at full lock with the wider tires. Granted, you'll need that even with 33s, if you go 12.5" wide. You should be fine if you go 10.5" wide.

If you need serious flex, then you will want cut, flat or high-clearance fenders. If you stick to pavement or FSRs, bump stops should be fine.

2.5" lift is great in that you don't have to deal with DS realignment. Over 2.5", and you'll need to make sure you get a lift that includes geometry correction brackets.

If you wheel hard with a lot of skinny pedal, then you'll want to reinforce your front axle if you have a D30. On-road only and the D30 should last for quite a while.

Re-gearing is needed if you have 3.23s or 3.73s (tho you could get away with 3.73s quite happily for a while); 4.10s or taller are better for 35s for better mpgs.

Just ask yourself how likely it is that you'll find yourself in a situation that would add significant stress on your rig and upgrade as needed. For the way many people use their JKs (pavement and/or mild offroad) throw on the lift and tires and enjoy.

YMMV.
Yeah I've found aftermarket wheels for each setup. One has 4" backspacing and the other has 4.5".

I don't need serious flex, so the bump stops should be just fine.

I don't wheel too hard, so I think I'll stick with the D30.

I have a 2014 Sahara Unlimited with Auto trans. Not sure what gears that is. Probably 3.73's?

My jeep is my daily driver, and I'll find a few mud holes and some light trails with some friends every now and then. So if I install everything that comes with my 2.5" lift, install the tires and after market wheels, all I'll need is an AEV Procal to fix my speedo, and maybe regear?

Let me know how it goes, would it be something you'd consider making and selling to other Halfers who'd be interested? Depending on price, I might could consider something like that!
Yeah, I am seriously looking into getting some manufactured and they would potentially be for sale IF I can make them happen. I started a thread a few days ago seeing if anyone would be interested in them or give some input or ideas. Here is the thread I started if you want to check it out - http://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/jk...ed-973249.html

Are you making the hard uppers from fiberglass? I'm surprised no one has made them for the mass market; they're available for pre-JKs. Maybe there are fewer half-door JKs out there (don't know why, they look fantastic!)
Thanks! Yeah, there probably aren't quite as many half door JK's out there as the TJ and YJ models. If I am successful making these I plan on making them available for sale. 1st thing is 1st though... got to get them made.

The sliders should also make for a quieter ride.

Crossbones The wheels I have are the Quadratec Moab style. They do look almost identical to the stock wheels. I got them for the 4.7" backspacing. Prior to getting these I plasti-dipped the stock ones, and they looked alright. But were hard to keep clean.

Got any more pics? Specifically wheels and tires? I have the stock silver S wheels, thinking of having them powder coated black since I don't really like what's out there aftermarket and don't want to spend the money.

ramjm_2000 Been meaning to post for awhile. I've ordered her in late June and had to wait until she arrived from the states to Germany. Ordered her (JKUS) with Black Leather, 3:76 gearing, ASD, Connectivity Group, Colored Hard Top. Mods have been fairly tame include 730 Nav clone (that allows European and US maps), Pro-Comp 7036s, and Draw Tite Extended hitch and wiring (for bike racks). Won't be doing any lifts anytime soon or getting too aggressive with tires until I leave Europe as I don't want to make the fuel efficiency any worse than stock (not bad as it is). Will be ordering a Trek Top NX for the summer as well as a rear camera as soon.

The day I picked her up:
