Lower Right Shock Mount question

Hey guys,
i have a question regarding the 1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande's lower right shock mount. Ya see, before i actually acquired the jeep from my dad, the shock mount broke. Not once, not twice, but three times. I figured it would hold if i welded it back into place. I have pics to show where its broken. Anyway, my question is, did the rio grande yj (in general) have problems with shock mounts breaking?
Thanks for any help/advice.
