|crumb||I definitely like the idea of not mounting the tire on the bumper but that can get really spendy to purchase the bumper and the rear carrier. I havent made up my mind yet on that idea. Any other suggestions?|

Personally, I am no fan of spare tire carriers that mount on and depend on the bumper for their strength. Most sag and start rattling before you know it. I would keep them separate, which also lets you pick any style bumper you want.
For the carrier, I've installed a couple from Off-Road Fabricators and they get my vote. It is supported by hidden brackets that bolt to the rollbar bases and it won't sag or rattle. I've been running one for about ten years now and I've yet to see another hold up as well. Jeep / Categories They make two versions... one has provision for carrying two five gallon jerry cans, the other does not.
You can get that ORF spare tire carrier for a lot less $$$ from my friend Gerald at firstname.lastname@example.org who is a dealer for ORF.
Make sure any bumper with receiver hitch you get also has the required safety chain attach points, some do not.

Rear tire carrier bumper suggestions
Any rear tire carrier bumper suggestions? I want one that doesn't rattle and that has a hitch that can actually pull a trailer and doesnt stick out too far.
