Like I said, I've had em all.....Willy's, Cj's, Yj's, Tj's, and now a new JKU.
I also had a couple old Broncos, that were far superior to the Jeeps, mechanically. The Jeep is more fun, but the Broncos....we talking '77 and older, ....just had better running gear than the Jeep or Scouts.
AND, it's more fun to "wheel" my Yamaha Rhino or Polaris Ranger in the Looziana swamps anyday....and a whole lot easier to clean up after....

|Krawlersaur||All I'm sayin is, most people that don't wave probably are just ignorant to that fact. They don't know any better. But when you go on forums where we all supposed to be connected, and try to say a certian group are fakes, its my opinion that you are doing more to harm the jeep community. It's one thing to not know any better. It's another to try to tear it apart from the inside. Let that soak in. Rant off.|

Man, some people in this thread are green with envy.
I just ordered a 2014 JK, and plan on keeping my 1994.
I like have the best of both worlds. Plus, I'll need something reliable when my JK is in the shop.

in the 70's Harley Davidson came damn close to shutting their doors forever. In the early 80's, some of the original Harley and Davidson family members bought Harley-Davidson from AMF.
They came out with a new engine and motorcycle designs. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. ....ANYONE....RAISE YOUR HANDS PLEASE....THEY STARTED MARKETING TO THE DOCTORS AND LAWYERS AND WHITE COLLAR PEOPLE...because these people had money.
I had been riding Harleys about ten years already and I thought, what a bunch of crap...These dickheads don't know anything about being a biker or what it means.............They were mall crawlers... and I guess the old bikers were the cj and yj people.... I think moral of the story is....
History keeps repeating itself

Most of the JK owners don't wave back in my area. Most, but not all.

|markgrozYJ||Hey I'm not doubting that you can wheel a JK hard as F!|
|02-21-2014 09:16 PM|
Yea, but some of us drop an LS 6 in there.......
Come wheel with us in South Looziana.......

The JK driver doesn't wave to me around this area either..
|02-21-2014 08:10 PM|
I am confused.
I love my YJ too. It is my weekend drive. Been driving it on weekends for three years. Can't wait for weekends so the wife and I can go for a ride. However I have not been to a mall in over ten years and we never go for trail off road rides either. So does this make me a mall cruiser?

Whatever floats your boat. I like my YJ. I've seen guys out on the trails that have 50k+ tied up in a JK & they wheel the piss out of them. I'm talking body damage, broke glass, all kinds of abuse & they just keep on going.
I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
