s3nt3nc3d Fire239 hit the nail on the head...get a buddy to help you with this so you can have one person hanging onto the door when it suddenly pops out of the hinges and tries to slam into the side of your Jeep. Take a block of wood and set it on a floor jack and then very slowly jack the door up from the bottom as close to the hinges as possible. Don't be surprised if it actually starts to jack the Jeep up somewhat (the body...if the wheels leave the ground, you might wanna drop it and start As you notice the body start to lift up could also try putting your weight down on the body next to the seat to push the body down while the door is on the jack. Once it gives, it's gonna pop out really quickly...I did it alone and bout died trying to catch the door when it popped trust me when I say you really want an extra set of hands helping you out. Once I had the doors off, take a scotch bright pad and rub the hinges good to get the rust off and smooth them down some and then take a general purpose grease and lightly smear it on the pins. Your doors will lift off with very little effort the next time around.

InfernoGirl They can be real buggers if they've never been removed. Pb Blast them to death, and swing while lifting, eventually they will come out, but I was black and blue before we finally got my driver door off... I finally had to recruit the big man to help, and even he had trouble.... Make sure your grease them well before you put them back in, once you get them out...

fire239 I had to pull up and kinda swing the door in a back and forth motion to loosen the pins. This was after a liberal spray of PB Blaster. They are stubborn sometimes. Some have had to use a jack with a wood block placed under the door and CAREFULLY apply upward pressure. If you do that, be alert for the door to suddenly let loose.
