Ageless Stranger Check out post 3 in this thread. Apparently putting a TJ or XJ D30 in there is common.

4WD Vaccum System On Front Axle

So my YJ has been regeared in the rear from stock 3.07 to now 4.56's. Reason being because I stepped up to 35" BFGoodrich KM's. Now my front axle has the vaccum engage 4WD System and so I wanna eliminate that. My buddy has a 94 grand cherokee axle already with 4.56's in it so my plan was to cut all the control arms and stuff off and weld leaf spring mounts on instead and throw it in. My question is, is there a way to eliminate all the vaccum lines and electrical when I take that Axle out and put a non vaccum Dana 30 in?
