What did you have done to it and where was it done?
Which warning light exactly?

If you had the coolant changed, some shops will put a clamp on the return hose to keep prime and they might forget to take it off. Check the lines for clamps, vicegrips, etc., or hoses that look flattened.

If your Jeep hasn't had the recall performed for the "hot oil" message for transmission heat, the Jeep will just make an anonymous beep when the trans oil gets hot.
Just as dangerous as it is annoying.
This remedy would be done by a dealer regardless of warranty status. It's hardly a fix though; just gives a message for the beep.

Good luck tracking the bug.

daggo66 Have you checked the obvious, such as anti freeze level?

2008 Jeep Wrangler Overheating?

I need some help here! So I had my jeep serviced a few weeks ago and a couple days later I noticed my temperture gauge slightly over half and then the warning light came on and then goes off. In the past few weeks when I first start the jeep up within just a few minutes the gauge reads half already...then i get these random warning beeps. The jeep only has 32k miles and never been offroad but unfortunatly out of warranty. Since I've had the jeep i know about the tire pressure warning beep but this isnt it. I was told that maybe the thermostat was sticking? But where is this random warning beep coming from?? Please tell me someone else has experienced this....
