schj98 Man I wish I was off Monday!

I will probably go 11/6/10 depending on weather my dad will likely bring his '00 Wrangler Sahara as well.

I ran most of the trails with my stock Liberty in the past so I don’t anticipate any problems for the new Wrangler. It has P255/75/R17 32" tires so it should do okay.

tarheel You can do most of Uwharrie stock. I did. There are drive arounds for areas that need a little more height I am looking at going back 11/15 Monday if you are fortunate enough to be off. PM me if interested.

I actually live in Monroe which isn't that far from H-burg. Just jump on 485 and go. Ive been wanting to go because I have never been there before. I got a pretty stock YJ just with a 2 inch body lift and 31x10.50. Not sure if there are any trails that a stock YJ would make it on

Well 10-27-10 was the day I finally saved enough to buy the Wrangler. I got a 2010 Sport Sticker $26,575 Invoice $25,513 Out the door for $24,213. I think I got a fairly good deal and now I finally have the vehicle I always wanted so I am very happy.

There is a lot to do to the Wrangler and I will have fun saving and making modifications over time but even stock this thing rocks!
First of all, Welcome to WF!
Secondly, BRAVO for buying your Wrangler the way you did!!! I subscribe to the same theory, but I've never bought new. Feels great to have a new toy with no payment, doesn't it?

Hi,

I have loved Jeeps since before I could drive especially the Wrangler.

I have had several Jeep Liberty’s over the years that I was able to buy with low miles from my father who has a Wrangler (which he will never give up) for fun and a Liberty or Grand Cherokee for business.

Those were great vehicles but I still really wanted a Jeep Wrangler unfortunately for me they always have extremely high resale value and since I can only afford one car it must be reliable I had no real chance to have one for a price I could afford.

About 2 years ago I decided I would get my Wrangler no matter what and since I refuse to have any debt I decided to simply make a car payment to myself every month until I could walk into a dealership hand them cash and drive away with my Wrangler.

This forum is filled with great information and I am happy to be a member here with all you folks.

Thanks!
