Triple88a ^ at a dealer no one will give a krap about your upgrades but later will add tons of money for them when selling it.. thats why you have to try to sell it to private..

jherrin215 Jeeps must be more where some of you all are from. Around here upgrades don't help the selling price much at all. I would say around here you are looking at around 14k

Triple88a i bought my stock tj 00 sport 5 speed at a dealer for 12.7k.. its got 40k miles on it..

Id say this one is worth maybe 14-15k + upgrades.. 17-18ish should be good id say.

4Jeepn The jeep itself... 12-13k add about 2k for add ons.. so say 14-15 range. If the jeep is clean and showroom, the mods might bring more.

Hank Thanks for all of the replies. I think I'll try to get about $18,000 for it.

tiger22 i would agree with the $19,000 mark. the only time you dont get any money back for add-ons is if you are trading it in on another vehicle. however if you find a private buyer you should get most of it back. its like buying a rubicon from a dealership, people buy them because they already come with so many upgrades from a regular tj. same thing applies with a private buyer who doesnt want the hassle and added cost of putting everything on. good luck...

MOz I just bought an '02 Wrangler X, 40K miles (factory soft top) for $13.5K. My upgrades are $4K (SRC bumpers, winch, RE 3.5" SF kit and TSL tires). I would not part with anything less than 17-18K if I had to let it go. If I was fishing for a buyer and had some time, I would list for 19K.

Good luck on your deployment and the new baby... Thank you for your service to our country. Just remember, CNN does not represent the average American opinion on the war...kick some ass man and keep your head down.

GOLENJEEPTJ Hang on to your price!!! Alot of people don't want to have to hassle and take the time to add the nice things you have, and it will cost them alot! AND ISN'T THAT TIME WORTH SOMETHING!!! ... I THINK SO! If it's in great shape believe me someone will BUY!! I have a 2002 TJ with far more than both of you and I would definitley ask a good price! I have that in the drivetrain alone! Good luck with your deployment and the new child! I thank you for what your doing for the COUNTRY!!!

upinar id say 14-15 thousand, i bought my 2002 with 23,000 miles with lift and 33s and bumpers, very clean for 13,900. So id think it would be the same or maybe a little more cause u have a 2003, but u have more miles than i had. So i think about the same. The thing is that you do get the money back after installing performance products like lift and bumpers and accessories. These ad-ons barely make a difference in price.
