amy Yup, great start to what turned out to be a great weekend. No hard core wheeling but it was loads of fun.

Savageland

Amy and the kids decided to take me out to dinner last night for an early birthday party. We went to a place called Savageland Pizza, it's an early version of Chucky Cheese, without the annoying rat running around.
Anyway, we had lots of fun, the kids got to play some video games and climb on a jungle jim playset thingy that makes the one in McDonalds look tiny, while Amy and I went out to play a couple rounds of miniature golf for prizes to be claimed later...much later...after the kids are asleep later.
After much fun was had by all, we decided to head home. Well, you see, there's this old rail line that runs next to Savageland and some enterprising kids decided to build a motocross track on the ride away next to the tracks. They built all kinds of nifty little jumps and hills and banked curves and, me being me and driving Amy's Jeep, I just couldn't help myself, we went tooling around the track and through the trees with Amy saying "what's on the other side of this?" and me saying "dunno, lets find out "
Everything was going great till we found this bit of a pile o dirt all climbable looking. It was climbable, but the railroad tie somebody buried at the top kinda shifted and caught the transfer case skid plate and got us very stuck.
After much grunting and groaning, digging and jamming, rocking and shoving we finally got er unstuck and tooled on home.
We went back today to get some pictures and see what we were driving over.

Mostly poser shots but we had fun.

That RR tie is what we were hung up on last night
