kg4kpg Well, spent 10 hours last Saturday looking for all 8 coins I needed and got them turned in on Monday per the rules. I didn't win squat! 75 people signed up, 23 turned all 8 coins needed to be in the final drawing and only 6 won a prize. So much for getting a hard top to replace my leaky LJ soft top. Still had fun though.

Speaking of geocaching...

One of our local Jeep dealerships here in Charleston is having a Jeep Geocaching event this weekend if you happen to be in the area. Should be a good time. Check it out. Their sign-up page only lets you select a jeep back to 1988 so jeepers with an older jeep just use 1988.

Rick Hendrick Jeep Geocaching

Here's the scoop:
We will have 8 geocaches all on public land or parks and we will give you the coordinates. Then, you and your friends and family members can set off to find the geocaches at each coordinate. We will give you hints and the coordinates but you must have your own GPS device. Once you have a cache (anywhere from 1-8 depending on how many you’d like to try to find) you will bring them back to the dealership Monday, November 8th at 7pm. We will have the Awards Ceremony for the winners on Saturday, November 13th at 10am.

Rules:
You must have a Jeep to register.
You must have your own GPS device to find the coordinates given to you.

You cannot collect more than one treasure from each geocache site.
You must have your findings back to the dealership at
7pm Monday, November 8th.

PRIZES:
1st Place: $2,000 MOPAR Accessories of your choice
2nd Place: $1,500 MOPAR Accessories of your choice
3rd Place: $1,000 MOPAR Accessories of your choice
4th Place: $500 MOPAR Accessories of your choice
5th Place: $250 MOPAR Accessories of your choice
