That was a definite concern before I bought the Jeep. I'm not sure what the life cycle of terra grappler 305-70-16 are but 37,000 seems low for such a light vehicle. You can tell from the wear on the tires that they were never rotated.
I initially thought maybe the odometer was off, so a I ran a Carfax which came up clean and verified the mileage. I even checked to see if the gauges were correct using my phones GPS which turned out nearly identical.
My hopes were that the tires were bought used, but I doubt it. The worst part is while trying to replace the rear tires I find that they are in nation wide backorder right now...

|PHX||Bald rear tires and decent fronts means it was driven by a teenager - ask me how I know|

|N39-W120||I dont know about the other guys, but if the rears are bald at 37000 and the fronts still have good tread I would say some one been dogging it hard..... Have it checked out good by some one you trust.|

Don't take this the wrong way... but it's kind of odd that the jeep only has 37k miles on it and the back tires are bald... Maybe I'm reading too much into that but its enough to make me suspicious.
Other than that it looks like a really nice Jeep though.

Did I get a good deal?
So I've been looking to get a Jeep for a while and finally took the leap Monday, I haven't had much experience with Jeeps and I'm wondering whether I got myself a good deal or not. Heres what I know about it.
1999 Jeep Wrangler
Inline 6, 5spd Manual
37,000 original miles
Car has always been garaged and only had 22,000 miles as of last April.
Back tires are bald and need to be replaced.
Apart from the lift and tires everything on the Jeep seems stock and in really good condition.
It looks like the Jeep has never even seen dirt, The frame and engine bay barely have dust.
I think what ended up selling me was the low miles, I found plenty of newer Jeeps around the same price that I liked better but all had over 100k miles and I was worried about the long run costs.
So what would you consider a good price?
