myjeepfun Went yesterday, had a blast. It was raining/misting for most of the day and pretty muddy.... The trail was in good condition for the most part. There were some semi-deep "ravines," for lack of a better word, that I had to steer away from. Stock jeep and 29 in tires. Good trip and beautiful landscape once the clouds cleared after a good rain.

Some of those more difficult alternate routes were tricky...I have a new found confidence in my Jeep.

Peace and be safe.

turdhurdler Thanks for the tire cover comments Justin. The wife loves when someone makes mention of it. And yes, it was a great time and glad we had a good turn out. Also, welcom to the forum, Justin.

turdhurdler Sweet. Should be a good turn out. Looking forward to meeting everyone. I should be at the Chevron station between 830 and 900. Just look for my Jeep or spare tire cover with the Arrogant Bastard logo on it.

Oh, and I got your PM, I will give ya a call when I arrive at the station.

Rawkon no worries on keeping in clean on my end. its the only way to wheel. people who drink and drive are usually the guys i clean up after and are the guys who get areas closed down. still dont have the jeep fixed but im hoping to get welding tomorrow.
10-28-2009 01:06 PM
SPDNJOE sounds great. Our plan is to be up at the Chevron gas station around 8:45-9:00am
10-28-2009 12:57 PM
turdhurdler Joe, sounds great. I have to do a quick run down on my Jeep from going wheeling a few times and not taking the time to check in advance for any problems that can be rising. I would rather spend the day in the garage looking for things than spend the day in the dirt fixing stuff on the side of the trail. I also have a few friends that may be interested in going along.

SPDNJOE Turdhurdler,
I normally take my 10 yr old step daughter with me. She will be out of town with mom this weekend though. Definately no drinking or excessive profanities from my vehicle. I know exactly what you mean.
10-28-2009 12:31 AM
turdhurdler If I am able to make it, I will have my step girls with me. I just want to make sure that there will not be any excessive profanities going or idiots drinking on the trail before I take them out there. They are still young and innocent and I plan on keeping it that way.

Rawkon If i can get my lower control arm mount repaired I try and be there. Ill have to take it easy since its the first time out after the crash

SPDNJOE So far we are 3 going up Saturday morning. I'll post up later this week the meeting place and time. We are also announcing this run over at jeepforum.com
10-26-2009 11:29 AM
turdhurdler I might be up for it. Keep me updated on your plans. There is no one area that is not accessable in stock form if that is a concern. There are bypases for the hard parts.
