devnull Ordered 2 of these Stinger bars along with LED mounts on Monday and they already arrived. Just got home and cracked the box open and I must say WOW the quality is really fantastic. Someone knows how to weld.

From the excellent service and patient conversation from Brandon prior to ordering to the really impressive build/weld quality here, I will be ordering quite a bit from you folks.

THANKS!

stevil Dunno what you mean by d ring mounts... The X/10a bumper doesn't have them. But yes, the skid plate is intact.

stevil I got my stinger, winch centering plate, red hawse, vacuum relocate bracket and license plate back in Sept. Installed right away, just forgot to get a pic up!

I'm glad I got the vacuum pump relocate. I didn't use it the first time.. But once I got everything together realized I need it in order to get all the front bumper bolts back. I still need to rip it apart and install it.

Maximus 10X stinger install complete

Thanks for the instant support!! It's installed now and didn't require additional or different mounting parts after all. To others that have interest, the Maximus stinger (cow pusher-deluxe had no interference with the Warn 9.5 CTIS/Mopar 10A winch. It looks good --despite the rain today.

Maximus has done well twice for me now! Quality products.

This install should be straight forward with No drilling or Mod required and without taking the bumper or winch off. The stinger is secured with 8 bumper screws already in the bumper with four reinforcement brackets assembled under and or behind the bumper.

Has anyone done this? I'm not seeing how the reinforcement brackets apply. I'm concerned that the Mopar winch mount bracket may have changed the dynamics vs those without a winch. Joe from Maximus to send screen shots for help.

Btw. Maximus brackets for the JW speaker fogs work great/seamless too. Quality finish et all.
Having an offset winch like mine or a centered Zeon or whatever will not alter the dynamics of the reinforcing brackets. Look at the top of the brackets.. the holes are threaded - act like these threaded holes are the Nut on the underside to the Top screw [found in your bumper] line them up and you will see how the bracket is designed to fit. The tale end of the bracket fits into the bumper tube [ don’t know the proper name] and secured with the supplied bolt.

Those of you that have your installed please chime in if I missed anything. Its fairly straight forward. I have pics on my build thread –I used the supplied silver bolts to plug the holes in the front bumper directly under the stinger hoop.. you will see them in the pics.

Hope that helps

I haven't done it but have the Max-3 Stinger and will be putting their winch plate in with a Warn Zeon 10S. In researching the plate install I came across install instructions from Max-3 and they have good pics of the reinforcement brackets for their hoop. While they may not be in exactly the same place at the ones for the stinger, it may give you a better idea of what you'll be dealing with.

I just googled "Maximus-3 10a/x Stinger Installation Instructions" and found a PDF from Max-3.

Hope that helps.

I think they were looking for the 10A/X bumper so they could buy one of your stingers; they really do look great!

Thanks. I've head nothing but great things about their products. This is my first time ordering anything from them (or trying to anyway). I got someone on the phone on my first try, but nothing but voicemail ever since.

Emailed them Tuesday, called yesterday and today.

I'm guessing then they're a relatively small shop?
