Jerry Bransford Yeah it can be REALLY tight. I prefer a big pipe wrench myself which works really well when the tie rod is too tight to move.

When you finally get it loosened, take it completely off and coat the tie rod end threads with anti-seize compound which will prevent that from happening in the future.

Easy Front end alignment questions

well im tring to do a simply toe and steering wheel adj but its not going smoothly. i loosined the sleeves on both sides of the tie rod but i can not turn the tie rod to adj. the sleeves are very loose can i spray some pb blaster in there to help i am using 16inch channel locks and im not getting ne where. ne help would be great thanks
