csamn2007 You should be able to place both the transmission and T-case in neutral if you are dragging the back wheels.

yj tow dolly help

im getting ready to take a 250 mi trip from brighton michigan to black lake michigan. i am taking my 95 yj but ran into an issue with the trailer i was gonna use. i have a tow dolly i can use but is it safe to tow that far with a dolly. im not worried about the dolly, but more the jeep.

if it is safe to tow the jeep that far on a dolly, what is the best way to do so? disconnect rear drive shaft or just put the tcase in neutral and leave the trans in neutral?
