JCS05Rubi There are Rubi fenders for sale in the For Sale section. I think redrubi is selling them. Might want to hurry up before they are gone If you can convince Scout that he wants to send me up some tube fenders, you can have my rubi flares

lost umm one more thing, If anyone knows where I could get a deal on some rubicon fender flares, lmk. I figure this could be another option for my fender problem

thats a good idea but i ordered some skids already.
I've actually been wanting to take a welding class but havent had time for it. Im waiting till either after I take a class or learn more about welding before I buy my first welder.

Thats one of the things that stopped me from ordering a bigger lift. I'm Thinking about getting a front hpd44 out of a late 70's ford, do any of you know what years and models were/are the good ones? and would this be strong enough to run the 36's reliably?

I just put a order in with joe from absolute offroad for a rocker guards, steering and gastank skid. My stock gastank skid is a little beat and almost everytime I go offroading I worry about my rockers, so this is money well spent

from what ive read/heard, the only thing that bothers me about the viking top is the lack of hard strip that goes into the channel and that I keep hearing that the clasps are cheap plastic, and the only thing thats keeping me from getting a rat top is that my stock frame is bent. I think my best bet is to find someone locally that has the viking to see it before I make my decision.

yeah, I think I just need to see a bunch of different tire carriers personally to figure out which one I like.
when I carry a spare it's usually in the cargo area, and it's works ok like that except when I need top carry more people and/or go on long trips

Thats the first time ive heard of fitment issues with the txt, ill have to look into that more. I want to go with the rear tube fenders from tnt if I end up getting the fronts, the only thing stopping me is the price so I might just end up going with genrights corner guards.

Tube fenders - I think everyone here knows I have T&T Customs Tube Fenders and I like them very well. As far as buckling the tub or anything like that I can't really comment. skids, tire carrier, softop, etc...

i'm going to get some stuff for the jeep this week and I wanna know if what i'm choosing is good, quality stuff, if you'd recomend another company, and if you know where I can get the stuff the cheapest.
i've been decideing weather to lift it more to go with 36's or getting a bunch of "little" things and i'm deciding on that.
ok well here's the list:

-genright gas tank skid (from absolute offroad )

-nth oil pan skid

-shrockworks sliders

-kilby steering box skid


i also need a new top, it's between a RAT top and viking top, and my frame is bent so i'm thinking about going with the viking unless someone has something negative to say about it.

i also need(want) a front tire carrier, i dont know which one to choose but I know that I like how the jeeperman looks and how the or-fab works but I dont like the prices.

im also looking into getting sometime of "sport cage" so that I can ride trails safely with the windshield down

I also need to decide b/w getting tube fenders (my fenders and flares are tweaked) or fixing my fenders and getting wider fender flares. and im looking to get sometype of rear corner armor and maybe some "side sliders" like the t-by-t or rokmen.
and i remember reading somewhere that these bolt on tube fenders can do more damge than good as in you could buckle your tub with them.

if I have money left over after all of this, im looking to do something with my axles, eventually I would like to be able to run 35 or 36" tsl's "reliably" but within a reasonable price range

i know that im probably forgetting some stuff and excuse me for some of this not sounding clear ( im very tired and feel like crap )
