Scout Bananas are dead. Sorry. I'm currently looking for a new fruit. (don't say it )

You can't tell when I'm serious? Give it time.

I was talking about the tire rubbing on the bumper. I'm just wondering if it squeaks since it's rubber resting on the metal.

Is this gonna be okay?

Okay guys.....I think I have fenagled my way out of needing an oversized spare tire carrier for my 285/75r16.......just hear me out. The tire is actually a PERFECT size because when attached to the stock spare tire carrier on my Rubi with the tailgate open, the tailgate won't shut only by about a centimeter because the tire hits the bumper. If I assist by pulling up a bit and pushing, the rubber on the tire gives just enough so that I can latch my tailgate. I had to take off the lower rubber isolator on the body of the Jeep because the bigger tire was hitting it and not allowing it to close, but it is still in contact with the other two. Now, with the tailgate closed, I would say a majority of the weight of the spare is now on the bumper and not the tailgate or the carrier. I can deal with the fact that it is not as easy to get in and out of the tailgate because the only time I really open it is when I put the soft top up and down.

Check out the pics.....Do you guys think this will hold up?

It doesn't look as tho most of the weight is on the bumper by the pictures but it is.

I still can't get these pictures to show up on the thread!
