Ageless Stranger It cost me less than $200 as well, but I did all the work myself.

InfernoGirl I just priced out having mine done and was quoted $350-400.... Fortunately I have a master mechanic buddy who owes me a favor.... $142 for a new rad, t-stat, and hoses from Rock Auto, and he'll do the work for free.... Now all I need is a gasket and a butt load of antifreeze....

NHrubicon If you take it to a radiator shop (we have a good one here) he will do a pressure check first to see where the leak is and if it can be fixed before he yanks it out...might save you some money compared to replacing it completely. Then when he puts it back in or replaces it, you will get another pressure check-and he will also check/replace hoses as needed on the spot.

J10 Alot more than you doing it. If you really want to have the shop go for it but the radiator is super simple can be done with very few tools

Hey everyone...I was just wondering about what it would cost to replace the radiator in my 1999 Wrangler Sport? It has 80,000 miles on it, and it has developed a small leak. It's nothing catastrophic, but I feel like I should be proactive and have it replaced anyhow!! I won't be doing the work myself, so I was wondering what it should approximately cost if I have it done @ a shop? Thanks...
