Source on new computer????

My 97 TJ decided the computer was going to go intermittent on talking to the diagnostic lead. Started being very hit or miss on starting....finally got a reading that the crank position sensor was bad...changed it and it will start now.

But I need to find a new computer....any suggestions on a source? I know I need to grab the part number....and I have a guy that can program the VIN....but where is the best place to find it...and are their any I should avoid?

Thanks
