SquarePusher Thanks I guess i have been leaning towards the new ball joints instead of replacing the whole setup.
The guy before me beat my little jeep up and the worn out ball joints are still hanging in there even after my trail riding and doughnuts.

I guess I have a reason to be cheap and buy those colored ball joint covers with matching shock boot covers,,,,,oh yea!

turdhurdler The only current company that I am aware of that sells upgrade drag links is Rugged Ridge. Currie used to make them, but I guess the request for them was not enough to keep manufacturing them. I run stock drag link and ball joints. I wheel moderate to advanced trails and so far have not had any problems with it.

Upgrade ball joint and drag link setups ????

After riding around at a local jeep fest I have found that I can make it through what most of the lifted jeeps make it through with stabilizers detached and 31 tires.
But I do want to get my steering links and ball joints upgraded.
I dont know if I should put new drag link ends or the whole assembly/and whether stock or upgrade or heim joints?

I want to be able to wheel lightly and toss mud ,but be able to take my family safely on little trips without worrying about the steering.

My drag links are on their way out as we speak.

Any help or links would be appreciated!
