XJ Knight truck towing jeep safe.. Jeep towing truck epic fail likely... Jeeps are not rated to tow much and the weight of that truck would push you around everywhere and kill your tranny in the hills.. Recoveries fine for jeep to get at that truck but any kind of towing is a no go

Bruck I'm pretty sure that is way over the tow limit for the Jeep dude. Why would you not do it the other way around?

Michigunman You wanna tow the F-250 with the Jeep? Sounds like the cart in front of the horse especially in the mountains. Can't you make the truck the tow vehicle or am I misunderstanding?

Towing with a tow bar

I have a 06 Wrangler(not unlimited) I would like to tow my 90 Ford F250 pick-up using a tow bar. I am planning to hike the Appilatian Trail and will need to tow the truck to finishing point so that I can get back to the Jeep. I will be doing Highway and mountain driving. Can I do this safely, any advise.
