|Neil F.||With regards to HID, I would not use them with that lens, you want e-code lenses and you do not need a different harness for HIDs.|

If I upgrade to HID, will that same harness work? Also, what bulbs are you using. I'm not sure if the Hella 100/55W will be strong enough.

|Atthehop||Yes that is the harness I used.|

Found it. Heavy Duty Headlight Wiring Harness with relays increases voltage over stock wir suvlights.com HEADLIGHT WIRING HARNESSES & WIRING KITS
It's the $49.00 harness for H4's.

|Atthehop||No you need to install a harness with relays and use the OEM harness to trigger the relays. I have one on my TJ and will see where I picked it up.|

H4 Headlight wiring harness
OK, there are TONS of headlight threads, but I haven't had much luck finding a link to a supplier for what I'm looking for.
I just ordered some Hella 002395991 7" H4 Type lights and 100/55W bulbs to replace the sealed beams in my 2005 TJ. I want to upgrade the harness to one with relays. What would be a good choice?
Might move to HID later, if I'm not satisfied. Silverstars were a step up, but not enough. Same harness, or not?
If there's a thread specific to this, I couldn't find it in a search.
